The fingerprint idea was new to me, but I thought it would be a much better level of safety than a new key lock or a combination door lock. So far, I’ve been very happy with this item. It’s a really substantial door lever, and the ability to control it with an app has made it so easy to install and use. Inputting fingerprints is a snap, and, so far, it has worked perfectly. I combined it with a fingerprint deadbolt, and the pair make it seem almost impossible to break into our home through the front door.
