I purchased the GB216K for my backyard where I do have access to Wi-Fi however it is not near a power source. During cloudy days the 6W Solar panel and built in 15000mAh high-capacity rechargeable batteries was extremely reliable and kept the camera operating. When turned on and set up, the humanoid detection is extremely reliable and has very few false alarms. The wake-up time to begin an alarmed recording was only 1.5 seconds ensuring all activities were captured. You can also deter unwanted trespassers with built in floodlights and a customizable siren which is turned on through settings. It has excellent 2-way audio which is very clear and allows you to have conversations over the camera from anywhere. It has amazing coverage with 355-degree pan, 90-degree tilt and 120-degree field of view. You can connect multiple users, alerts and notifications are sent numerous ways through the free application or via email. The 2K 4MP images are very clear and crisp; night vision is impressive, depending on lighting during night conditions it will be displayed in color or night vision. You can install up to a 128 GB micro-SD card which will store months of recordings. You also have an option for a cloud subscription, which has a one-week free trial. The camera is easy to install and does not require professional installation. The videos and images both day and night are incredible. The free app has many customizable features and is easy to use and setup is quick and easy. I highly recommend this camera to anyone that has an area with Wi-Fi and no power source.
