I purchased the Altix CL1 70mm Matt Black in December 2023.Item was as described. Good quality product. The finish of the black metal is very good.The box came with instruction booklet on how to install and I could install and activate the lock on the Tuya App without any issues. The battery used is CR123 (which was wrapped and was included inside the lock). So it’s compact.The box contains the 2 RFID Smart Card, 2 Metal Keys with 2 suction cups, Reset Card with instruction card, 2 allen key and 1 small screwdriver. So all tools, to install, was included.This cylinder lock is very suitable for people who do not want to replace their complete existing door handle and the mortise. You just need to take out the existing door lock cylinder by unscrewing it from the side and replacing it with this door lock cylinder. No need to drill and no need for an installer if you follow the instructions.The Fingerprint sensor and card reader is fast and opens with any issues. The TUYA app makes it very easy to register fingerprints, RFID tags, see logs of door openings and register members. This door lock recognizes 13.56 Mhz RFID tags, which you can buy from other sources. So you are not limited to the 2 RFID tags that are included in the package. The remaining battery level can be seen on the TUYA app.This door lock works with Bluetooth only, not WIFI.Bluetooth range is very good. Not very dependable
This a great product, however sometimes it glitches. It sometimes stays on unlocked and the most frustrating is that it sometimes refuses to unlock until the physical key is used which locks you out.Update: After using this lock, i decided to return it because it locked me out on several occasions to the extent that i have to keep its key with me at all times, defeating its entire purpose. Support is also horrible and did not provide any help whatsoever.

Key-less Life is cool!
Easy to install, and easy to configure on the app. I initially bought this to have the flexibility to lock and unlock my door remotely, but this smart lock is BLUETOOTH ONLY which means as long as you are in Bluetooth range it works. I ended up purchasing the gateway mentioned in the product description and it’s config on the app and installation were a breeze. Highly recommended.

Tested for 10 months. Still getting stuck on unlocked
Works perfectly fine 98% of the time. I’ve had a few of instances over a 10 month period that it got stuck on open. I removed the batteries to fix it one time, the other time I used the app to unlock it a few times and it seemed to start working again. As I’m patient enough to ensure it’s locked after I use the lock, I was there to be able to fix it. I’m sure if I was in a hurry to get a way and this happened I would not be as happy. This needs a firmware fix.

Got it installed for my home, such a great convinience, never have to worry about carrying a key anymore. All of us in our family can just enterr and exit without haveing to worry about key.Product quality seems really good, metal head looks strong and smooth finish. Fingerprint is super fast, only thing I need to rotate myself, automatic unlock wouldve been nice.This lock uses ttlock app which has so many options and controls. Overall very satisfied with this purchase.

What one should know is if you are planning a DIY, it may not work for all doors!I have 2 apartments and so I bought 2….while it fitted on 1 like a breeze, it simply did not sit well on the other and I had to reinstate the old traditional one.
