   Excellent streaming boxes.

   For the everyday price, which you can only get this price for the fire stick 4k Max if it’s on sale, these are better. (Brand New). The software is smooth, and in my opinion much easier to navigate than the Fire sticks interface. In my honest opinion it looks much cleaner. Especially if you have a 4k TV and you change the settings in the Google TV menu (Onn box) to 4k. Very nice. Doesn’t lag one bit, when I use the USB plug directly to the TV. Which is strange, because the 4k Max will lag occasionally (they even have a pop-up that will tell you it’s best to plug into the wall for optimal performance). If you go spec for spec they are very close, which is a big selling point for me because I see no reason to pay double for essentially the same specs. Other than size , I guess. But these are really not big at all. They’re like 2 Fire sticks wide, no biggie. My only gripe is the ad shows this is 32GB storage when it’s actually only 8GB. That’s a big difference. The fire stick wins there, cause I think they have 16GB. This could be a deal breaker for some. For me not so much, because I stream everything. The remote is great too. Feels substantial, and not cheaped out on. Value for money is great 👍🏽.

   Please whatever you do , do not buy this item. It is NOT an original Onn streaming box, but a counterfeit knock off.I worked ok for a few months and not Netlfix themselves don’t support the firmware it running on. So Netflix is useless.It can’t even stream in 4k as the box says.You have been warned.

   Ya no es compatible en LATAM

   Atención que este producto con su mas reciente actualización (la cual no puedes omitir instalar) dejó de ser compatible con otra región que no sea USA o puerto Rico, es decir, comprarás un pisa papeles porque no te permitirá conectarte. Aún cuando hay manera de usarlo con un VPN, tendrías que conectarlo a una PC de manera permanente para poder usarlo, complicando innecesariamente algo que en teoría debe ser fácil.Es una buena tv box, Pero si no puedes usarla sin complicaciones de restricción de región, no sirve de nada.

   Wifi issues and region locked

   Sent me a region locked device, with Canada outside it’s region.Bought this 2 or so months ago, started having issues with wifi, where it refused to properly connect to the wifi and gave the error of the password being incorrect but was still able to connect to hotspot. Figured a factory reset would maybe fix the issue. Tried to setup the device again and not only does it still fix the error, it now says it is region locked to the us and pureto rico. Great now I have a very expensive paper weight that I can’t even return. Thanks poundmax
