      Buying a new laptop today after 2 years

      I had this laptop for almost 2 years. There were moments where the computer would randomly shut off, the battery wouldn’t charge for periods of times, it would be so slow and can barely process anything. And the keyboard could be sometimes hard to click on as well. The quality and color is pretty, probably the only redeemable traits about the laptop. And it’s durable. Other than that, you don’t need to waste your money on this

      Not too bad for refurbished

      My first MacBook Air! So excited for this! Not a bad one for the money I didn’t want to spend 2,000 for my first one so I was looking at the refurbished ones and I saw a lot of good reviews some were iffy but I new this was the one! Has a little scratch on the apple sign and some rough edges on the top but other than that it’s perfect I just fully charged it so we will see how long the charge last but it’s amazing to have my first MacBook and not be 2,000! It’s a big win honestly besides the scratchesUpdate: I had to update the MacBook and I charged it too 100% when it was updating it dropped down to 70% so the battery life isn’t that great but still for the price it’s not that bad.

      Apple Macbook Air

      Unit shipped quickly and has been working decently since having it. A small chip was on it, but that’s to be expected for refurbished units and it doesn’t affect its usage at all. Great overall.

      My experience

      I wrote earlier stating some of the issues I had with my laptop. To make a long story short the laptop did come to me dead which was a slight hindrance. The laptop itself is in pretty good condition. I just had a small crack on mine. However, it wasn’t noticeable and it’s on the side where you can’t really see unless you’re paying close attention. The biggest issue I had was my space key. It was giving me a hard time and I would have to press on it hard for it to work. Long story short I read somewhere to flip the laptop over and hit where the space key should be at on the back of the laptop. I did it three times (not too hard of course) and it worked. It was slightly annoying due to the fact I just got my laptop yesterday and I had these issues. However, overall it was worth it. The laptop itself is very stunning and like I said in good condition. I have heard that this keyboard from the 2019 MacBook Air had its issues. However, I do know Apple offers a free service to fix these keyboards which is nice. Overall, it was an okay product.

      Terrible! Not Amazon Seller! Do NOT buy!

      I bought this computer last week. I was happily surprised when it arrived the next day (early). When I took it out of the box, it looked perfect. That is where the good things ended.The battery was not fully charged, but that was ok. I plugged it in, but it did not charge while I was working on it. When I removed the charger, the battery icon said that the charger was still plugged in (it was not). I tried charging while the laptop was closed. No dice. The battery charging icon never went away, no matter if the charging cord was plugged in or not.Then one time I went to open the screen, and the entire screen was filled with horizontal lines. Mind you, I had only had the laptop for two days and had been on it for an extremely minimal amount of time.I immediately contacted the seller, Who I assumed was Amazon, but it turned out it was a third-party seller. The seller told me that I should take the computer to a computer repair shop and have it assessed and then send them the report. I informed the seller that by live in a rural area and an extremely far away from any type of shop like that. In addition to that, the seller wanted me to take pictures of every angle of the computer and send them to her.I then requested to just have a replacement computer sent to me since I just received this last week. The seller informed me that they do not do this, and told me that I could return the computer for a refund, but I would have to again send them pictures.I’m extremely frustrated by this entirely process. I received a defective product and the seller should step up and try to make it right instead of putting all of the burden on me. I would definitely not recommend to anyone and would NEVER, EVER buy from this seller.
