I bought the iron with high expectations as it is Kenwood.The packaging was good the looks were good and it heated fast.It just did not work well when on the highest level of steam..Placing the steam button on medium worked fine but on high steam did not work at all.It worked as dry iron.I returned the product for a Black and Decker which is working fine.Good I realized about Kenwood in time and thankfully Amazon has the 14 days window to return the purchaseDisappointed with Kenwood steam iron

Stopped working after a few ironing
I use the iron sparingly and it stopped working suddenly, I used it maybe 10 times. When I saw that the nearest service center for warranty repair is 50km away and I’d spend on petrol more money than I spent on the iron, I asked my husband to repair it and he did. Some plastic got out of its place and he repaired it in 5 minutes. I wonder if it’s made like that intentionally or not.

Average iron
Not smooth on clothes especially silk and synthetic. You have to stretch the clothes to iron. Ironing is not speedy and the wire gets tangled easily and it’s not easy to straight up the bends of the wires.
